Trashings

Not the best photo as everything got a bit manic and I was trying to stay away from the water.

Trashings happen when people finish their exams. At college we're allowed to stand and wait on the grass in second quad and the people who have finished run through the passage into second quad and we throw water over them. It's then followed by cava which has been shaken up (we played catch with our bottle) and the people who have finished their exams aim the cork towards the clock. It's called aiming for a first. The alcohol is then drunk. My afternoon was then spent with Kitty (who'd just finished exams) having a nice pub lunch, packing up rooms, going to tutors' collections, going to the pub with the first year geographers, then heading to the second year accommodation for dinner with Hattie. It was then the end of term bar party and a night out at Wahoo!
