Our Companions VI - Goddess Kali
Another artifact from our travel portfolio :) Kali or Ma Kalī is the goddess of death. Kālī means black, time, death in Sanskrit. There is nothing that escapes the all- consuming march of time. But she brings death to demons and ego helping to overcome the I-am-the-body perception of self. She is depicted with her tongue stuck out as a symbol of giving and taking life and maybe she just mocks her devotees.
