Cornus Kousa

Dry day today, completely opposite from yesterday, so went out as soon as I could. More work on the hot border just deep weeding and turning over the soil. Pruned a hypericum and an oriental Paeonia. Helped CH to make some netting guards for the vegetable beds. It got very cold towards 5 pm - time for tea and my daughter's almond and cherry cake
The Cornus was a delightful surprise as the new growth is just appearing.
