The Smyths

My old mate Richard got me a ticket to see The Smyths, tribute act for – go on, have a guess – at Holmfirth Picturedrome, just a few miles away from where he lives. We were both big Smiths fans back in the day, and this lot did them justice, they were great! In fact I saw Morrissey solo a few years ago, and this lot were much better :-)

The Picturedrome is a brilliant venue too – not many old places like this left.

Terrible picture though – I'll never make a concert photographer. But it's the only shot that captured the atmosphere at all...
