Drooping

When I met Mrs C at her hairdressers in Harpenden back in January I decided to join her at her next appointment and get my hair cut.
I really need to stop leaving it eight months between haircuts!
I drove down after dropping off the Little Misses and enjoyed an hour or so's pampering - lovely massage chair as I had my hair washed, cups of tea, trashy magazines and nice chat with Mrs S and the hairdressers.
For the first time ever I had my hair put in giant rollers as it was dried. I'm cross with myself because I was dying to take a photo of myself but my phone was in my jacket in the cloakroom and I was too embarrassed to ask to go and get it. I should have!
My hair was so swooshy and bouncy once she'd finished. It was ace!
We went to Pizza Express for lunch after which was scrummy. It's been ages since I've had pizza and I enjoyed every last mouthful.
There was an old couple sat near us who clearly doted on each other - sat so close, holding hands and completely engrossed.
I hope Mr K and I are like that in forty years.
I got a call just before I left to say that Miss E had been complaining of ear ache. She seemed OK when I picked her up but she said she didn't want to go to gymnastics tonight.
No great hardship as I'm feeling a bit ropey myself.
