Southerly

After an uncomfortable night with my bee sting burning, the morning was about breakfast & bag packing for our 3hr trip south to Port Barton.
Rice fields awaiting their next crop, others still awaiting the cleanup after the crop just sown.
With the increased traffic accumulation; another side effect of a booming tourist industry, the roads are under construction. Some 100mm of concrete poured in 10m sections (for easy replacement) on either the left or right side of the road. Slowly they are joining them up between bridge building.
The drivers concentration is quite astounding. Between oncoming traffic, road surface changes & overtaking small wide loads & pedestrians; it is not an easy drive for those easily distracted by butterflies.
The lunch break was locally sophisticated... we opted for the magnum & some local cashews.
The ATM was not simple either.

Arrived at Port Barton for a late lunch, a short swim & a wander down the beach to the other end. Stopping for a drink & some sunset photos at the Jambalaya cafe.

Dinner in the treetops with the waves behind us & Art singing in front of us. It's another 500 kind of night.
