Strawbale house continued

This is the last picture on day 6 of our 7 day Straw Bale House workshop. We learned about render today and did 2 sides of the house on the outside. These are the young ones up on the trellis, I am sensible to have stayed low down.

Out team did a heap of work on a window this morning and this afternoon I did a lot of shovelling of sand and tried applying the mortar. It is as hard as it looks.

Thanks for the comments, stars and faves. We are still out in the paddock with out power ( that is not true, Bob has the solar working well) so I am not doing much checking of the site and haven't heard the news for a week. Early to bed , no it is almost 10pm so I should say off to bed...
