Pig that flies (well, kind of!)

This pig collects donations to let other people fly! The organisation I work for is organising a conference for folk involved in our work in 160 countries this summer, and this pig sits in out office and collects donations to run the event and get participants there. I have set myself a specific fundraising project which he will be helping me to tackle. It is fairly common for folk at work to bring in some baking and put it on our coffee table with a sign saying that people are welcome to eat the baking, but need to make donations, so this lovely solid iron and weighing a ton flying pig collects them. My challenge is to bake something every week between now and World Assembly in July and bring it in (or take it elsewhere, but pretty frequently it will be taken to work). Not that hard, but I am not allowed to make the same thing twice, so will be trying out a lot of new recipes, which will be more of a challenge, rather than the 5 or 6 things I am well practised at baking! You can look forward to baking blips pretty regularly for the next few months!
