Night at the Opera

My hubby and I enjoyed a date night in Sarasota. We had a delicious dinner of Sea Bass at a fabulous Mediterranean restaurant on Main Street. Right around the corner was the Sarasota Opera House. Dave was a good sport to pose for my blip!

We were very impressed with the beautiful building and the intimate setting. The orchestra and cast were wonderful and we throughly enjoyed the performance of The Marriage of Figaro. It was a nice warm up to our next weekend when we hear our son perform in the Flying Dutchman in the National Opera.
