Not So Long Ago

My youngest recognized her twenty-third birthday today. What a beautiful, inspiring and loving gift I've been blessed with.

This picture sits on my night table and was taken at our Florida home when she was only four years old. Though it's fading a little, this morning I did a bit of sprucing up. It didn't take long for all the memories to start flooding back in.

On the cusp of graduating college this June and beginning the next chapter of her life, today was a day to look back fondly and relish our wonderful past blessings.

I count myself a blessed Mann in so many ways ...today was just another in the endless growing list.
