RIP Sir Terry Pratchett
I'm still welling up every time I read these last three tweets with which Sir Terry Pratchett's daughter informed the world about his passing yesterday afternoon.
It's like a whole world have died with all the characters I read about since I was a kid, the places you would explore with them, the humour.
It's Piotr Cholewa's fantastic translations of Discworld books that first got me interested in literary translations, because they showed me how it should be done with author's input.
But he deserved to die like this, at home and surrounded by family. Rest in Peace, you won't be forgotten.
