Star struck

I succumbed. Hearing the plaintive cries of my distraught surviving chicken, I cleared out the greenhouse to make a temporary run, put down bedding on the floor and nipped off to Fenton Farm for some retail (chicken) therapy. I came home with a Fenton Blue. 80% chance of blue or green eggs. Hamey, Flash and I spent an hour at dusk hunting for the other chicken as she wasn't in the hen house. He noticed her in the dark (speckeldy hens are mostly black and spangled like this blip) perched on the back of a garden chair. I'd given up hope. Anyhow, they're in for a shock in the morning and I guess I'll have to leave it to them to work out who's the bossess.

The blip is the view through the greenhouse door using flash (lower case F). The dots are algae reflecting back. Doubt if a predator will get it open.

Canoneyes - you up for taking on a new godchick? She's a rather ugly little chicken, and right now very cross.
