Tulips

These tulips seemed to have a certain beauty, even though they are "over".
I wonder if it would be possible to dry them? But instead, I turned them into a blip!
For the first time for more than a week, we didn't have to go out of the village today. The rain poured down this morning, but Russet and I were not to be discouraged from our walk, and felt all the better for it!
We enjoyed chatting with friends over coffee, and the rest of the day was spent pottering about, catching up with a few chores - and working on the village history project!
