Time to bowl

Went to Lane 7 bowling after work. Couldn't believe how busy it was! After 4 bowls and no pins hit (by me), my husband nipped over for a word with the barman and as if by magic the barriers popped up on each side saving my ball from the gutter. It was embaressing at first having the sides up without any children as an excuse but the game is a lot more fun when you can knock some pins down!

Afterwards we went to Akbars for a meal. It was our first time at the Newcastle one and it was lovely (and also busy). The nan breads are absolutely huge and come to the table hanging from a hook. We only managed about half of our food and brought the leftovers home for tomorrow. We're both working the weekend so it will be nice to have tomorrow for lunch.
