Appointment with the Doctor!

Molly and I went to Perth Royal Infirmary today as she had a follow-up appointment with Dr McLean.
She was absolutely delighted when he said that he'd see her again in 6 months, rather than start to talk about another operation.  She doesn't mind the op so much as the weeks afterwards in a cast.
We drove home listening to her tunes on Spotify, bopping along like a pair of daft teenagers (well, she is - but I just joined in).
Then it was DIY time at home as the fluorescent tube in the kitchen ceiling stopped working.  
I was actually quite chuffed with myself just for getting the right starter switch from B&Q, but have now realised that it's flickering again :(
