Fish out of water

Of course, what Basil doesn't realise (you need to look at yesterday's entry), is that being human gives me a number of advantages.  Sure, I can't run at 35 mph, kill rabbits with my teeth, or follow a scent trail for 5 miles, but I can get into my car and drive to the fishmongers.  I can also explain to the fishmonger that I want the fish with the nicest pattern and I don't want to pay too much.  I can hand over the correct amount of money and say thank you.  Basil may have been of the opinon that he had the superior ability to obtain food, but I don't suppose he drove himself to the pet shop today.
I'm not bitter.......
