Swanning about on the river

A bit of a dreary day, wet and miserable again, well until after lunch anyhow! I've hit a bit of a wall today, I think it's after the worry and the hectic week, not been at home much until today....so,haven't had much energy or urge to do much of anything :-/

Took a quick drive out and found this beautiful swan paddling about, quite contentedly this afternoon. I like the simplicity of this shot.

I've just realised that today is my 300th blip I think........I was so looking forward to reaching 365 so I could get my first year book, hub was going to buy it for my birthday in June, but I'm not overly optimistic anymore, which makes me feel a bit sad really :-(
