Grey Day at the Abbey

A misty murky day but at least it stayed dry! I was up early to try and track down some equipment which was removed from the field where we were orienteering. It was a rather expensive Si box so I was pleased (and irritated by whoever removed it)to recover it from a hedgerow near to the school.

We then travelled to Whitby to try a new walk from the Abbey along the coast. The Gothic splendour inspired Bram Stoker when writing Dracula. The views today were somewhat muted by mist so it will be good to walk it again in better weather.
