Hacked !

Yesterday my laptop was playing up. I couldn't decide if it was me or what.

A little later I came to open a file & I got an error message basically saying that all my files were safe (but on a secret server) & if I wanted them I would need to pay 500USDollars. If I don't pay by the 19th of March the price will go up to 1000USDollars. This left me in a difficult position, & today I had to use a photo I took on Tuesday because I thought it was very apt. It is Aylesbury Prison which is where my thieving hacker friends need to end up.

Needless to say I not paying up & Richard (in Mexico) has advised that I run a free security package which I have done. The long & the short of it is that around a thousand edited pictures have gone but fortunately the originals are still on my camera so all is not lost.

As soon as I got the message I cancelled my Credit Cards & asked that they be renewed. Barclaycard were very helpful & said it was the right thing to do.

So beware & always make sure that your internet security is up to date !!
