Red Kite Day

This is my version of Red Nose Day  ;-))

I was out in the garden trying to get a nice shot of a visiting bumble bee when a Red Kite swooped really low right over the garden( it's really unusual for them to be so far away from the local woods, so it took me completely by surprise).  I instinctively started snapping wildly in generally the right direction as there was no time at all to line up a shot, focus  etc. Amongst all the very blurred shots was this one that I was quite happy with........I nearly lost it out of the top of the shot so it has been cropped a bit but most of the detail is still there...hope you like it :-))
