Alpine Iris

We have a complete change in the weather today, it is beautifully bright and sunny and not cold at all.  Had a lovely walk this morning, and spotted this Alpine Iris, only about three inches high, so bright and cheerful.  Irises are some of my favourite flowers, so I was happy to spot this.

Forecast is for rain to move in so I am just enjoying the sunshine while I can.
