Today was Miles 4 year check up. He grew 2 1/2 inches in the last year and weighs in at 36 lbs. All checked out nice and healthy for the big guy and as the doctor and I tried to talk Miles kept trying to play with him. The doctor told me I have a great out-going kid...and Miles did awesome at following all
Instructions until the two shots came. Then he totally freaked out! After He said his legs didn't work because he got two flu shots (they weren't flu shots) and that I needed to carry him everywhere the rest of the day. So we had a stay home day with mama and the girls, who were waiting at home with Mimi and Grandpa C.
After naps we walked to the park where Miles kept saying, "mom watch this trick" as he climbed and jumped through the playground. When we got home Miles helped me make dinner and helped me watch the girls. As we were making our chicken and green beans Miles asked, "can we turn the chicken into dough and then make cookies for dinner instead?"
When Emma started to cry he stopped helping me in the kitchen and went over to rock her, sang songs, stacked blankets and lovies and toys on top of her, turned on their sound machine and then kissed her face. She stopped crying and stared at big brother wih her big pretty eyes. Such a sweet little moment.
Later Mitch and Miles played Legos - building their zoo and cars and planes and trains while they chit chatted about life.
