Winter casualty

Our mailbox took a hit, probably from a plow truck.  It was almost perpendicular to the post.  Mr M did a patch job with a bungee cord and when the snow is gone he'll have to do a more permanent fix.  

Beautiful blue sky today, though it was quite chilly with a strong wind.  The chickens came out of their building today for the first time in weeks.  There is still snow in their pen, but there is a small area that has melted and they took advantage.  Talk about feeling cooped up!
