Sills at last

Today our builder, during a brief visit, fitted the window and door sills to the bedroom windows and doors.  Apart from some minor odds and ends of work, this completes his work, but not ours, on the upstairs bedrooms.  We still need to strip the walls, get the socket installed, where the wires are sticking out of the wall and redecorate the rooms. 
  
During the early part of the evening I received a telephone call saying that my appointment for eye surgery in mid April had been cancelled, but as a vacancy in the surgical list for tomorrow had occurred at short notice, would I be willing to attend for surgery tomorrow. I said yes, tomorrow’s blip will probably be of me with my eye in a sling!
