Autumn's Carpet

Firstly, thank you for the attentions to my wee cup & flowers yesterday, you are such a generous group of friends.

We had strong nor-westers overnight which helped to shed the autumn leaves clinging onto our flowering cherry. Furthermore, more very strong nor-westers during today which has laid even more on the ground. They look stunning especially as dawn broke, the sky was quite spectactular also.

More shed work this morning, finished for the time being. Two lots of visitors this afternoon and both at the same time. Couldn't do justice to either.

I have coughed and spluttered my way through the day, so much so that Doug, bless him, has just gone off to town to find some pills and potions for me.
