Snoozing on a hot Saturday

The sun came out today, it was warm and there was a gentle breeze in the air.

My morning consisted of a gym visit and a dip in the swimming pool (I didn't make the early get up time for running club). Andy went cycling with the cycle club to Horseshoe Bay and up Cypress Mountain. This afternoon we went to Granville Island, spent a small fortune on food and drinks and enjoyed the sunshine. We then decided to walk along the far shore to the SkyTrain station, it's only supposed to take 40 mins but an hour later we were to be found lying in the sunshine outside an Irish pub waiting for a table outside. Our 40min walk was spread over 4 hours, aided by much lazing in the sunshine and the discovery of a part of town we hadn't been to before.
