Pods

The next generation escaped their protective wombs in the cold of winter, leaving only dried, empty husks behind.  I think these are on some sort of pencil cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli), but I'm not sure because I've never seen seed pods on a domesticated plant.  But whatever they are, I thought they looked pretty in this light.
