In Ann Arbor

I'd only been in the US one month and got to see Ryan Adams three times - in about 6 days. Since he (well, his music) is the reason I met the Beloved this all made perfect sense.
We visited a lovely book store, talked with the band's steel guitar player (whom I'd met before, in Munich), saw a great show and stayed the night in a hotel.
I seem to remember it as romantic - but like I said; I'd only been here a month, this was practically still our honeymoon :)
