Roof-lite

Phase 8 of 10 of the re-roofing this monster. Not too much rot in this one, thankfully, although the comment was "it's not much effort to strip it - it's stripping itself" (as the slates drop off easily, the nails having rotted).

We had the digger still for the morning (it having arrived 4 hours late yesterday) so made more mess.  

One consequence of this exercise is that the path down the east garden slope is now defined.  We'd prevaricated, and had planned steps; however, we had to get the JCB down and back up - without tipping sideways - and there turned out to only be one such path around the trees.
