New project..

We're changing the pond that wouldn't hold water, into a fire pit.
There's a stone built BBQ and spotlights so it'll be a nice area to sit in the summer. I'm keeping the waterfall and the rockery because we have newts and I'd hate to ruin their habitat! It'll be nice to hear the water and the fire crackle! We'll build benches either side of the old pond to sit on. just have to get the sludgy water out of the bottom first..
I found a large newt and a small frog. I'm surprised anything could live in the pond it was so choked with fallen leaves etc!
We hope to finish it by May.. :-)
