Kayaking down Storms River.
I knew one night at Storms River would not be enough!!
We had pancakes for breakfast sat at the table of the decking of the cabin with a cup of coffee and the wonderful view.
We then had a morning kayaking down Storms River Mouth. A lot of fun!! We went so far and then swapped to linos... great fun to be had on them. We had a great guide and lovely bunch of people kayaking with us and the weather was warm and very pleasant. The scenery was lovely and quite surreal.
I haven't kayaked now for several years but it did give me the buzz to maybe start again when I get home. I kayaked a lot and competed to quite a good level in the 1990s but the latter part of the decade I picked up a shoulder injury and I couldn't paddle the same after that and therefor the amount I did wavered until I stopped around 7 or 8 years ago.
I will admit that R and I showed the guides the level to which we were competent by catching a wave and 'surfing' back in at the end of the trip. Luckily he was quite amused and it was fun for us.
After that it was time for lunch and to hit the road again and head the hour or so up to Port Elizabeth.
Really didn't want to leave Storms River!
