Darwin sunset

Last night in Darwin before leaving for Alice Springs in the morning - and what a sunset we got!

It didn't last long - we're used to longer displays in my part of the Northern Hemisphere - but what it lacked in longevity was made up for in brilliance and colour. This particular view also reminded me of the flag of the Aboriginal people, and that was a very pleasant coincidence given my awe at the Aboriginal rock art that I had seen during my visit to the 'Top End'.
