Today I saved a mole (a bit random I know)

I ended up walking the 5 miles back home from Penicuik in the p-ing rain (a bus drought) and was horrified to spot a mole wandering about on the Northbound side of the A702.

The cars had clearly seen I was trying to help something so they gave a wide berth (when they could) but a few hearts stopping moments - in the end just had to scoop the little fella up & hope it didn't bite me.

All fingers, thankfully in tact & the minute he/she got to earth he started burrowing - super cute and safe at last.
