Turkish Delights

R and I are now in Turkey - arrived at our hotel at 2 am this morning

Our guide - Fahti - escorted us and fellow members on this coach trip - around the usual tourist attractions in Istambul - Topkapi Palace - where we saw the second biggest diamond in the world - Hagla Sophia Museum - sailed on the Bosphorus Sea - and visited the Blue Mosque

The last visit of the day was my favourite - the Spice Market - which not only sold spices - but flavours of tea I couldn't imagine - Turkish Delight in many flavours - touristy items like fezzes and slippers with pom-poms on - fresh fish - and tripe
