A pillar of the community....

Not too bad a morning,cold but dry.A lorry in with 21 tons of cattle feed. Managed to get it all stacked and lorry away without and damage!
Had to get the industrial hoover going after lunch to unblock all the grain elevators ,as they decided to jam up yesterday. Then had to hang off a ladder up the top to get the spout cleared. I'm getting too old for these aerial acrobatics !
The power washer I took for repair 3 weeks ago still isn't fixed,so managed to scrounge a loan of one from the dealers, as need to wash the fertilizer spreader from yesterday before it rots ! So a wee trip to Macmerry ,with a detour to Haddington to get a puncture fixed.
Its amazing now I am doing blip how you notice things. Have driven through Pencaitland hundreds of times,and only noticed this plaque today.
And now its tipping it down like it's never rained before. At least yesterday's Nitrogen will be getting washed in (or away ! ).
