Déjà vu!
A return trip to Box, and to The Quarryman's Arms, the pub that I discovered last week on my Bus Challenge!
Today's visit was a family outing to celebrate my Father's birthday. He may be in his mid 80s but he still enjoys good food, and The Quarryman's Arms has a great menu, along with stunning views across the valley to the Cotswold village of Colerne.
For his birthday treat, my Father chose Mixed Sea Food Tapas, followed by Venison Noisettes, rounding off the meal with cheese and Port. And myself? Well I had a cheese sarnie with chips, I really do know how to live it up! Though I must admit I did later help him out with polishing off the Champagne and Birthday Cake!!
