Oh deer!

I was really lucky this afternoon. I decided to keep Pepper on her lead while we walked up the park, because I didn't have her ball and I didn't want her wandering off.
This was fortunate because as we got half way up the path I spotted two large deer ahead. They had obviously spotted us and were completely motionless, so Pepper didn't notice them - also because the wind from behind reeked of slurry.
I watched for a while and took some bad photos with my phone, this is about the best. Can you see the deer?
They turned and loped up the hill and over the fence into the wood, thankfully not with Pepper in hot pursuit!
