This morning I attended a brilliant U3A talk as Mr PP's guest. It was given by Dr John Ellwood, FRAeS, who was working as Rosetta's project manager when it was launched in 2004. He told us all about the amazing work involved in placing the Philae 'lander' on to the surface of 67P comet. You can read more about this amazing space mission here.
