My Favourite Flower...

This image was taken today when I was talking at a crafting and scrap-booking event - the follow on from yesterday. It was such a fantastic morning - weather was amazing, the people were so lovely and everyone was so receptive.

The event was held at an incredible house in Berkshire with acres of land, privately owned family home! They have plenty in their garden that is photo worthy.

I helped the students with their settings on these flowers - they are so beautiful. It is the shape, size, colour, vividness, smell - everything is a pleasure for the senses.

I was fortunate enough to capture this one with a little bee buzzing about. I was hand held and squinting with sunglasses on - so not the most in focus, but it works!! The depth of field is incredible too. I am a fan!

Im glad I have managed to take a decent blip today! A proper, well thought and executed blip! Makes a change compared to the last minute ones!

The rest of the day was great. Saw a few friends and family throughout the day and building new friendships. Just reiterates the fact that you need to see people and be social. Life is just too short otherwise!
