Mud and fog

I drove up to the South Farm to take some photos of the mist. This was my favorite - Look at the disappearing power lines! I am also curious about this mysterious patch of grass. It is maintained as a rectangle, and left to its own devices throughout the year. I wonder if the good researchers are not testing some fertilizers - or herbicides or pesticides on it. Whatever they are doing, it only seems to encourage it to grow...
