Hiking above Reno

My brother and I took a hike in the hills above Reno today. Part of the trail led beside the Steamboat Ditch which continues to the Trucker River canyon. We broke off that trail and continued up into the mountains. About an hour later a winter storm moved in and began pelting us with rain that turned to snow. So we quickly headed back down to the car then headed home to have hot toddies and thai chicken curry.
