Stranded

As hinted at yesterday the flight from Inverness to Sumburgh tonight was cancelled due to high winds so spending the night in Nairn courtesy of Flybe. I can't complain about how we are being looked after but.......
The Glasgow Sumburgh flight had been diverted to Inverness due to the weather but resumed its journey in the early evening. That plane had around 10 empty seats but we were not allowed to fill them. This would have catered for most of the Shetland bound passengers. Surely filling the plane would have been better customer service? Probably some regulation stopping it happening but it would have been nice to know why.
