Flick the Switch

This is what is known in the greenkeeping world as a switch cane (modern day version fiberglass) which we use for various jobs, including this one. What we did to day is a routine job, cover the green in sand and generally we verti-drain or hollow core behind however in this instance as we were forecast rain we switched in the sand first. The sand is laid on the top first and allowed to dry, because the sand sits on top of the grass it needs to be pushed into the surface to help create the clean gentle bump free roll on the green.
This is my blip for the day, catching the switch pushing sand into the surface.
