Wednesdays are my "day off". In reality, it means that I don't accept (as far as possible) any appointments or tasks from anything I am paid to do but concentrate fully on being a one-day-a-week housewife and a one-year-a-week mother and wife. Today that involved murdering the garden a bit in preparation of the growing season starting. I'm always amazed by what a total heap everything is and how much work it takes to get it in any kind of order and how amazingly pointless it all is really if one thinks that, in reality, I will run out of time and everything will be an overgrown, slug-infested disaster by June. However, before I became a perfect example of a depressed Sisyphus, I found my camera lenscap(missing in action a long time ago) in my gardening-jacket's pocket. Which cheered me up.
That all hasn't got much to do with a blip of olive bread but, well, I don't care.
