Life from city to village

City Views

It was a very sunny morning, so I took this shot from the car park, across the city. The three cranes are all working on the same site - the bottom of Eastgate (sort of the High Street, known as the Headrow). The tall building is Bridgewater Place - famous for being so high its altered the wind in the area. When the wind blows, they have to close the road next to it. The dome is, I think, the top of the Trinity Centre.

So essentially, this is the view of the city centre, from St James' Hospital - about 20 minute walk at a good pace.

I do love the ever changing landscape of the city. Ever since we've been here, there have been cranes on the skyline, building something or other. It never seems to stop. If I moved the camera along the skyline to the right, you'd see the Leeds Arena, with another crane behind it.
