Turning colder again

The temperature dropped over night and with a clear sky it felt quite cold. The long tailed tits were back and busy filling up on the suet block. Still lots of redwings in the fields as well.
A good sunrise with red skies  proved the old wives tale true as the wind blew strongly and we had heavy showers. The forecast for the weekend is much better.

The top names for new borns in Scotland have been announced with Jack and Emily the most popular with more unusual names like Spartacus, Thor, Khaleesi and Dodge also used.
I have known a Heaven, a River, an Ocean and a Scout :)
