Wet, very very wet!

No heading out early for the best part of the day this morning - today was a day with no best part - weatherwise at least.
We woke to torrential rain - and its been continuous all day- fields and roads are flooding - it's basically horrid.
I made some amendments to my report (note to self - no tinkering!) and then headed in to town to run some errands - I was fairly sure you'd be getting either flooded fields for Blip or Pooch on the couch.
But...
The Owl Sanctuary are back in one of the disused shops in Kendal - and I popped in for a chat - and left exceedingly well pleased with myself. We have a loose arrangement for them to bring the birds to the Care Home where my mother in law now resides - I need to confirm with the home that it's OK (it will be) & I'll cover the cost - I see lots of happy geriatrics on the horizon.
