Woody in Blue

A short walk across the fields this morning to catch some sun before it disappeared. As I stood waiting for a small plane to take off from the local gliding club this young woodpecker landed in the tree next to me, so blip sorted.......probably just as well because as I tried to get a shot of the plane taking off I managed to catch it behind a tree or a bush with every click  :-/.........I think I will stick to birds   ;-)))
