Mince Pies aren't just for Christmas

When we got back from our Christmas visit to Kettwigefrau,  Mrs T decided to make some more mince pies. Unfortunately the D----d S. mkts had decided that Christmas was over and cleared the shelves, no mincemeat anywhere.
Last weekend , while in a local farm shop with Mudman,  I spotted this  lone jar of alcoholic mincemeat. As I type this it's being converted into pies, with a bit of luck we'll sample them with our afternoon coffee
