Dear Blip Friends, I am deeply touched and grateful for your kind good wishes and thoughts yesterday. I was well impressed with the QA Eye Dept.
After many tests, with me failing every one of the hand/eye co-ordination tests, the Orthoptist fitted a temporary prism to the left lens of my glasses. A miracle! The world is now stable and steady again, the hope is that this will continue to work whilst investigations continue. I must still not drive though.
Thence to the Ophthalmologist who did his stuff. I await an appointment for a CT scan -
to determine what's happening neurologically - which will be soon as I see the Ophtho again in two weeks.

Meanwhile, barring anything untoward, this journal will return to non-eye topics.
